Who Was I?
i was that small girl,
with big voice, tactless mouth;
with long think straight-trimmed hair;
in neat pink school uniform.
i was that famous girl.
who won art contests-local, national, international;
who belongs to active school clubs,
recognizable, and head turner.
i was that bring-home-the-bacon girl
joined press conferences/ journalism;
joined choir as well
somehow never turned anybody down.
i was "multi" girl,
majors in visual arts;
minors in ballet, piano, theater arts, creative writing, and media arts.
schedules were hectic.
i was a leader girl.
i lead the arts group;
i lead the class section;
i lead the student council.
i was the girl,
who gets all the attention;
who receives appreciation;
who gives enough determination.
i was the girl,
who does not tolerate imperfect outcome;
who does not make untidy works/projects;
who does not consider failure to stop.
i was the girl,
who organizes and plans things accordingly;
who is impatient when gets rough,
who wants to go and get things my way.
i was the girl,
who never believed of discouraging myself;
who prefers that things are better off on my own
because i know i can.
i was the girl,
who believed in myself of all other people.
who contradicts on what i disagree
who fights for what i think is right.
i was the girl, who i think,
is righteous and fair;
is capable and less mistakable,
who i think, has changed...
